Toronto Film Week returned this week with a diverse lineup of indie films. Festival host and manager, Maarten Cornelis, expressed great satisfaction with the 2025 edition: "The 2025 edition of Toronto Film Week marked an exciting new chapter at Innis Town Hall, right in the heart of the city. The vibrant energy of the venue, packed with students and seasoned filmmakers, made for a truly memorable atmosphere. This year’s diverse selection of narrative, documentary, and experimental films drew practical full houses throughout the week. A standout was À toi les oreilles by Alexandre Isabelle — a beautifully orchestrated short that resonated deeply with both jury and audience. Fresh from SXSW, Festival REGARD, TriBeCa, and Palm Springs, Isabelle’s film offered a tender, humorous reminder of the hidden harmony within life’s everyday chaos."
Selected from over a thousand of. entries, this year's official selection featured 38 films from around the world. Toronto Film Week is delighted to announce the jury results for the 2025 awards today:
